SUNSCREEN

The only true sunscreen for backpacking and protecting our environment

Whether in the mountains at minus temperatures, e.g. in the Andes at 5000 metres, or in the Amazon at over 35°C, the sun damages our skin and ages us quickly. It also increases the risk of skin cancer, which is an increasing problem these days. We therefore strongly recommend everyone to always have appropriate protection at hand.

However, the choice and flood of products, especially the bad ones, is seemingly endless! Even if the advertising promises great things, almost all brands known from the drugstore chains are unsuitable - either you would have to apply half the bottle to achieve the promised sun protection or the ingredients are bad for the body / the environment or the cream does not adhere properly to the skin.

After years of testing and trying out new products, we came across the French company Biarritz. The products have proven to be incredible in practice! They are skin and environment friendly, keep their promise and the content of 100 ml spray 50+ lasts for almost 2 months when applied permanently on the whole body. The creams from Biarritz are incredibly effective and act as a real protective shield at 40°C and 8 hours of sun on the equator at the beach.

Most sun creams are also a heavy burden on our waters and damage our corals, for example! We are therefore very pleased that Biarritz also takes this aspect into account in an ingenious way.
